David-Jan Bosschaert is a Law and History graduate from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. After his graduation he worked as a long-term EU trainee at the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels, Belgium before moving on to the private sector. As of September 2015 he will be a student of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies at the Bruges campus of the College of Europe.
Having started MUNing back in 2011 through his university conference KULMUN, David now finds himself chairing at a broad variety of conferences throughout Europe and beyond, including a posting as Secretary-General of POZiMUN 2015. He also has a long-standing history in the Belgian Youth Parliament, and currently serves as the Vice-President of the Flemish Youth Parliament.
Piotr Sitnik student of law at University College London, having previously studied law at the Warsaw University (2012-14). Piotr has been MUNing since 2012 and has chaired MUN committees in Poland, Belarus and in the United Kingdom. An active participant in the British MUN circuit he has been involved in DurMUN, BathMUN (as chair), LeedsMUN, as well as MUNeX in Colchester (all in 2015). He is also involved in the student debating circuit in the UK and beyond, specializing in team debating.
The overarching objective for him as a chair is to give the delegates, the true heart of any conference, the best experience possible. He looks forward to leaving a positive and constructive mark on the conference. Outside of MUN and academia, he is a long-standing Wikipedia administrator as well as a published poet.
Isabel Vicaría Barker will serve as this year’s Vice Chair of ASEAN. Born and raised in Berlin, Isabel became involved in MUN during her freshman year at high school and has since then participated in numerous conferences in different positions. After graduation she moved to Munich to pursue a law degree at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University. Currently she is finishing up her ERASMUS year in Barcelona and plans to begin her specialty in International and European Law this October. When not participating in MUNs she enjoy sports, hiking, cooking, hanging out with friends and travelling. She looks forward to meeting you all!
